Rasa - The Syrian army soldiers beat a number of terrorists back from their positions in Dara'a province after hours of non-stop clashes, inflicting also major losses on them.

RNA - The terrorists' attacks to capture the government forces' positions in Wadi al-Zeidi in the Eastern part of Dara'a province were fended off by the strong defense of the Syrian military men.

 

Several terrorists were killed and wounded in the army attack.

 

Meantime, air force fighter jets pounded the terrorists' military positions in Ibtta and Da'el town in Dara'a province, killing a number of the militants.

 

Two notorious terrorists Abdollah Mohammad Avaz, nom de guerre Abu Aoun, and Nasser Ebrahim Mesri were among the terrorists' casualties.

 

Earlier on Friday, the Syrian Army soldiers attacked two sites of the terrorists in Dara'a city and a command center of them in the Southern territories of Dara'a province, inflicting major losses on the militants.

 

Two bases of the terrorists in Dara'a al-Balad district and a command center of militants near Busra al-Sham came under massive attacks of the army, which left scores of militants dead or wounded and destroyed their sites.

 

Meantime in Wednesday, the Syrian army was preparing for a new round of military operation to seize back a strategic region in Dara'a province.

 

"The Syrian army is preparing to drive the terrorist groups out of the town of Ibtta in Dara'a province," a military source said.

 

The battlefield sources reiterated that the Syrian army was only 3 kilometers away from Ibtta town and the government forces have already recaptured a military base near the town.
