RNA - “The agency’s latest report on Iran does not contain any new point, and has only confirmed Iran’s compliance with the JCPOA undertakings,” Najafi said on Thursday, hours after the IAEA’s quarterly report on Iran was issued.
The report has confirmed that the Islamic Republic is complying with its commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), a nuclear deal with the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany).
It also underlined that Tehran has not exceeded the limits set in the accord on its low-enriched uranium and heavy water stockpile.
In April, IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano had hailed Iran for respecting the nuclear accord, saying the Islamic Republic has even gone beyond its obligations.
