RNA - In 2001, Trump sold the 45th floor of Trump World Tower to the kingdom for $4.5 million, The New York Daily News reported. The five apartments were turned into part of the Saudi Mission to the United Nations in 2008.
In addition, the apartments that were sold had yearly common charges of $85,585 for amenities.
Trump and his supporters have criticized Clinton, saying she needs to "return the $25 million" Saudi Arabia gave to her foundation because the Arab monarchy has a poor human rights record.
In June, Trump said on Facebook that “Saudi Arabia and many of the countries that gave vast amounts of money to the Clinton Foundation want women as slaves and to kill gays.” He added, “Hillary must return all money from such countries!”
According to the Clinton Foundation’s donor list, Saudi Arabia gave between $10 million and $25 million. However, Clinton Foundation spokesman Brian Cookstra pointed out that Saudi Arabia did not give to the foundation while Clinton headed the State Department.
The Daily News investigation also found that former al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden's half-brother, Shafiq Bin Laden, lived in an apartment in Trump Tower for four months in 1986. He paid an $8,500 security deposit for the apartment.
