Rasa - Three people were killed and 12 wounded in two explosions in Baghdad on Monday.
RNA - A police source in the Iraqi capital said that an improvised explosives device (IED) “targeted a police convoy in Tarmyya district North of Baghdad", Rudaw reported.
"As a result, one policeman was killed and four others were wounded.”
Another IED in a local popular market in Dowrah, South of Baghdad, killed two and injured 8, the source said.
The latest attacks come amid tension in Baghdad, where civil servants began a strike on Sunday.For months, protests have been forcing the government of Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi to take serious action against possible corruption among authorities.
