RNA - The forces on Wednesday fired a barrage of Katyusha rockets at a Saudi military position in the southwestern province of Najran, Yemen’s al-Masirah website reported.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Yemeni forces also fired a home-made ballistic missile at an industrial area in the city of Najran.
On Tuesday, the Yemeni army fired a ballistic missile at the Abha airport in the Saudi region of Asir.
Another ballistic missile hit the Saudi state oil giant Aramco in the southwestern region of Jizan on Tuesday, inflicting heavy losses on the company.
Saudi Arabia has been pounding Yemen on an almost daily basis since March 2015. The campaign was launched to crush the Houthi Ansarullah movement and their allies, who took state matters into their own hands in the wake of the resignation of former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.
The United Nations said Tuesday that the death toll from the 18-month Saudi war against Yemen had increased to nearly 10,000.
The UN humanitarian coordinator said in a press conference in the Yemeni capital that the toll was based on official records provided by medical facilities in Yemen.
Jamie McGoldrick added that the figure might be even higher as some areas in Yemen lack medical premises, and families there often bury loved ones by themselves.
