According to Rasa News Agency, Hezbollah Al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance's secretary-general, in a meeting with Iran's chairman of the parliament on Saturday morning as his first official programme in Iran, pointed out at the Iranians' aid to Iraqi people and said: I humbly thank Iranian people and Supreme leader of Iran who stand by our side in Syria. Much blood is shed from Iranian, Iraqi, and Syrian soldiers in the battle against terrorist groups.
Sheikh Akram Al-Kaabi said: by grace of God, many areas which were under control of ISIS have been freed and we have won numerous battles against this terrorist group by the aid of Iran. These takfiri terrorists are only present in Mosul and some areas in Al Anbar Governorate's desert now.
He then added: when American occupation forces were in Iraq, they imagined they could eliminate Al-Qaeda through a series of military operations, but because Al-Qaeda had an intellectual base in Iraq they managed to survive and create ISIS.
The prominent commander of Popular Mobilization Forces of Iraq, pointing out at the Mosul liberation operation, said: the Mosul battle is a decisive battle which will determine the Islamic resistance's direction. It is a battle with the U.S and Barzani's party. Barzani is trying to form an Israel-supporting government in Iraqi Kurdistan.
Al-kaabi stressed that "if resistance groups under Iran's support were not present in Iraq, the country would be in terrible trouble. Hezbollah Al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance as one of the groups under Iranian support is present in all areas of operation in Iraq. Also we were present in Aleppo for a long time and actually our forces are currently based in Aleppo, controlling the area.
Clarifying about the movement's cooperation with Lebanese Hezbollah he said: we fought alongside Hezbollah's forces in Zeynabieh, Damascus. Also, we - Hezbollah forces and ours - were under siege in Aleppo for a while, trying to find a way to Khanasir in Aleppo.
Pointing out at two recently-freed Shiite cities in the northern outskirts of Aleppo, Al-kaabi said: our forces were very effective in the operation to liberate Nubl and al-Zahra.
In another part of his statements, al-Kaabi exposed the takfiri terrorist groups and said: Al-Nusra Front is completely and directly supported by Qatar. Albeit Saudi Arabia and the U.S have never withheld support for this terrorist group.
He then clarified: Saudis buy very expensive rockets from the U.S and deliver them to all terrorist groups in Syria thorough Turkish borders.
The prominent commander of Popular Mobilization Forces of Iraq continued: these terrorists are so much supplied with military equipment and arms by the above-mentioned countries that they even use advanced American rockets to target a single person.
He then pointed out at the nominal "ceasefire" in Syria and stressed: the terrorists in Syria do not believe in any ceasefire and peace and use this opportunity to occupy other areas.
In the end, he pointed out at other countries' support of terrorist groups and said: according to the documents we have, over 140 countries support terrorism in Syria. In fact we are not fighting against takfirism in this country, we are fighting against 140 countries with the leadership of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and his guidance and have achieved great victories so far.
