Rasa - Syrian military forces fended off attacks of Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly-formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front) on government forces' positions in Northern Hama.

RNA - Fatah al-Sham terrorists failed to prevail over government forces' strongholds near Tal Skeik and Ma'an due to strong defense of the Syrian army men.

 

Fatah al-Sham suffered a heavy death toll in the failed attacks and retreated from the battlefield.

 

On Tuesday, the Syrian army's ground force targeted and destroyed the terrorists' military positions in the surrounding areas of Atshan village Northeast of Hama as the country's air force struck different regions in the town of al-Latamina.

The ground troops also advanced in several districts of al-Latamina town with air force backup.

 

The Syrian fighter jets also pounded military positions of the terrorists in the village of Um Haraytan in Northeastern countryside of Hama and al-Zara village in Southern Hama.

 

Meantime, the terrorists' military positions in Hirbnafsa in Southern Hama also came under the Syrian airstrikes.

 

In the Southwestern countryside of Hama, the Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front) attempted to take control of al-Zara power plant, but they were pushed back by the Syrian army.

 

The Syrian army also destroyed a BMP vehicle in al-Madajen Front to the North of al-Zara village.
