Militants Surrender to Syrian Gov

RNA‌ - "140 militants from the villages of Talbiseh, al-Rastan and Hassia in Homs province and from a number of neighborhoods in Homs city were pardoned after turning themselves in to the authorities on Wednesday," a source said on Thursday.

The development came amid the terrorist groups' threats against those who surrender to the government, the source added.

On Wednesday, the Syrian army pounded and destroyed ISIL's military positions and hardware in the Eastern part of Homs province.

The ISIL's military vehicles and strongholds came under the Syrian fighter jets' raids in al-Sukhneh region, and in the Eastern countryside of the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur).

The Syrian army also hit ISIL's military positions in Um Sahrij, Qubliya, Talbiseh, Um Sharshouh and al-Ameriya village.

Meantime, an army unit also targeted and hit a terrorist group affiliated to the ISIL organization when it attempted to infiltrate from al-Mazbal village into one of the military posts to the Northeast of Jubb al-Jarrah in the Eastern countryside of Homs province.
