RNA - Syria’s state television said the attack targeted Salaheddin neighborhood of Aleppo on Wednesday, adding that the victims included a child.
The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights put the death toll at 10.
Earlier on Wednesday, an unnamed security source had said that at least seven civilians, including two women and a child, lost their lives in a rocket attack by militants on the same neighborhood.
On Tuesday, militants struck Salaheddin, killing eight civilians and injuring 12.
Aleppo has been divided between government forces and militants since 2012. Syrian forces have been engaged in a major operation to liberate the militant-held parts of the city as well as the province with the same name.
Civilians have often fallen victim to rocket attacks by terrorists on residential areas of Aleppo over the past weeks.
On Tuesday, the Daesh Takfiri terrorists carried out a chemical attack on residential areas in Aleppo. Sources in the city said the terrorists fired rounds of mustard gas mortars on a government-controlled neighborhood earlier in the day. At least 20 people were wounded in the assault.
