RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ahmad Hoseyni-Khorasani, the representative of the people of Khorasan Razavi province in the Assembly of Experts, explained that when the nuclear talks with the West began and the signing of the JCPOA occurred, the Supreme Leader told the negotiators “if you want to negotiate, I will not prevent you but I am not optimistic about these negotiations.”
He said one of the major achievements of the JCPOA is that it proves that the US cannot be trusted in any circumstance and that the US doesn’t want Iran to have dignity, independence or progress but rather, they seek to attack and harass the sanctity of the Iranian nation.
Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyni-Khorasani said that the enemies’ inner desire has always been that Muslims remain backward and preoccupied with problems so that they can implement their plots against them, and added: “There are numerous verses in the Quran which say that Muslims must have certainty because in all circumstances and at any price, the unbelievers will never be satisfied with them.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom said the top-level officials and decision-makers in Iran’s government must realize that the US and the American minds cannot reach a mutual understanding with Iran under any circumstances or at any price.
His Eminence added that the meaning of the sentence isn’t that we won’t negotiate or have a relationship with them but rather it means that we know that the unbelievers are the obstinate enemies and opponents of true and pure Islam and the US, Israel and the UK will never be satisfied with Muslims.
Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyni-Khorasani added that out of compassion and interest in developing the country, a number of officials who lack awareness of the imperialists’ spirit or those who have engaged in mischief and sedition say “if we take one step toward them, they will show flexibility” but the US is our sworn enemy and will never be satisfied with our progress, power or independence.
