“This hunger strike is over the ongoing Shia target killing and the criminal silence of the government and security forces... This hunger strike is to protest against continuous persecution of Shi’a, Christians, Hindus, and followers of other beliefs at which security institutions have opted criminal silence,” the MWM stated in May.
