RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Ahmad Moballeghi, the representative of the people of Lorestan in the Assembly of Experts, issued a message of condolences over the death of two martyrs who died protecting the Holy Shrine of Lady Zaynab in Damascus, Syria.
During his speech, he said that the enemies “have injected an infusion of violence into the body of the Muslim ummah” and noted the promotion and deepening of differences among Muslims.
His Eminence added that the spreading of a pessimistic world public opinion towards Islam and the Quran are the aims of the Takfiri ISIL terrorists.
He added that the excuse for the presence of the imperial powers of the world in the Middle East is the destruction of the antiquities and heritage of Islamic countries and added that enticing the people, especially young Muslims, toward confrontation and destruction and sowing the seeds of anti-rationality and false ethics in society are some of the other violent actions of Takfiri terrorists in the region.
Hujjat al-Islam Moballeghi referred to the arrival of the month of holy month Ramadan, saying this month of fasting and worship is a great opportunity for Muslims to rebuild their spirituality, intellect and morality at three levels: individual, family, and community.
The president of University of Islamic Denominations said the focal point of this opportunity is worship and obeying God and if this properly implemented, there will be many changes.
His Eminence also expressed hope that Islamic scholars will take advantage of the precious opportunities that Ramadan brings to solve the problems facing Muslims throughout the world.
