Rasa - Iranian President Hasan Rohani said: "meeting with Obama is not on my agenda but everything in the world of politics is possible, of course, this depends on the existing conditions."

Rasa News Agency Reports - In reply to the questions of American reporters regarding his probable meeting with American president Barack Obama in New York Iranian President Hasan Rohani said: “meeting with Obama is not on my agent but everything in the world of politics is possible, of course, this depends on the existing conditions.”

On Wednesday evening, President Rohani was interviewed by Ann Curry in an interview that will be broadcast throughout the United States on the news network NBC. He answered questions regarding various issues.

The most important subjects of the interview were on the subject of the correspondence between Presidents Obama and Rohani regarding nuclear negotiations, his planned travel to the United Nations in New York, the fate of Syria and prospects for relations between the United States and Iran.

Dr Rohani in response to one of Curry’s questions on the source of the probable meeting between him and President Obama in New York said: “meeting with Obama is not on my agenda but everything in the world of politics is possible, of course, this depends on the existing conditions.”


In response to other questions regarding his travel to New York, President Rohani also said: “we want to clearly explain our position to the United Nations General Assembly, regarding foreign affairs, international affairs and including nuclear and regional issues. Our expectation is that the world will clearly hear our voice.”


Dr Rohani continued with emphasis that in the last Iranian presidential election: “My voice echoed the voices of the Iranian people. The Iranian people chose the path of moderation and moderation in foreign policy with the meaning of interacting with the countries of the world.”
