RNA - In a statement broadcast Saturday on Radio Sarajevo, the committee supervising over the memorial ceremony of the victims said the event will witness a funeral for 136 recently found victims identified through DNA technology, including dozens of children and minors.
It was reported that the remains of the victims were found in different mass graves, where the Serb forces had attempted to conceal the massacre carried out against civilians in July 1995.
The committee stated that the remains of Srebrenica victims are still being found in mass graves. So far, remains of some 6,200 victims were buried again at the Potocari Memorial Center in Srebrenica where Saturday's events will take place.
Some 80 international delegations will participate in the commemoration marking the 20th anniversary of the genocide, including former US President Bill Clinton, a representative of US President Barack Obama, President of Slovenia Borut Pahor, Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Jordanian Queen Noor and Foreign Affairs chief Federica Mogherini is set to represent the European Union at this event.
