RNA – Speaking at a ceremony in the southern Lebanese town of Borj Rahal, Hujjat al-Islam Hasan Abdullah, the cultural administrator of the Amal Movement, referred to the challenges created by the Takfiris in the Middle East saying the Islamic world faces two faces of terrorism – Takfirism and Zionism.
"Each of them can both cause irreparable damage to the region," he added.
Hujjat al-Islam Abdullah explained that Christians throughout the Middle East were previously targeted by International Zionism, adding that this still continues today, as Zionists have created the Takfiri project to threaten Christians as well as other groups.
The Lebanese scholar condemned the targeting of religious minorities by Takfiri militants throughout the region, and pointed out that the purpose of the Zionist project is to secure the safety of the Zionist regime and to confuse the other countries in the region. Zionists are trying to undermine and weaken the Islamic world so that they can become the only powerful country in the region.
Hujjat al-Islam Abdullah said that the Zionist regime is building more illegal settlements and occupying more Palestinian territory. He further said that by hurting the people of Syria, the imperialistic countries are repeating the Palestinian refugee experience in the war-torn Arab country. The Palestinians have been expelled from their homes for over 60 years.
He emphasized the necessity of awakening Islamic nations to deal with the current situation facing the region. He said that some Arab countries are continuing their fratricide against other nations had made great strides in the progress of civilization.
