Rasa - Hundreds of Canadian protesters staged a mass rally on Tuesday and lambasted the Saudi military aggression against Yemen.

RNA - The protest was held in the Canadian capital of Ottawa, with participants holding placards reading "Stop the Genocide of Yemenis", "Stop Saudi-US-Zionist War on Yemen, and "Say No to War on Yemen", FNA reported.

The Canadian protesters urged swift end to the monarchy's airstrikes on innocent men, women and children.

Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 27 days now to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed over 2,819 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children. The attacks have also left thousands of people injured.

Hadi stepped down in January and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement.

Despite Riyadh's claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
