RNA - According to Iraq's official News Agency, Iraqi Parliamentary Speaker Saleem al-Jbouri invited Vatican Pope Francis I to visit the resident of Prophet Abraham in Ur city, south of Iraq.
He congratulated the Pope on Easter Festivities, during his speech in one of Baghdad Churches today, pointed that Iraqi Christians are an integral part in Iraq and its long civilization.
Speaker Jbouri pointed out, with sorrow, that the Christians are celebrating this Easter out of their residences and churches.
The visit of Pope Francis I was designated previously, but it was postponed for security reasons.
