Rasa - Egypt will host two international Quran competitions in the coming months.
RNA - The first one, which is slated for April 18-23, will be organized by the country’s Awqaf ministry.
Some 50 countries have been invited to take part in the contest named “International Competition on Holy Quran and Understanding Its Ethics”.
15 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Burundi and Britain have so far voiced readiness to send their representatives to the competition, Fars news agency reported.
Egypt’s Al-Azhar Islamic Center will hold the second contest in June.
It is called the International Competition on the Ijaz (miracle) of the Holy Quran and Nabawi Sunna and features research papers on the miracles of the Quran and Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
