Rasa – the Venezuelan interim president accused US of plot to assassinate himself and said: “America is after eradicating the anti-imperialist figures”
Rasa News Agency Reports – In an interview with the Venezuela’s main stream TV channel, the interim president of Venezuela, and the candidate of the 14th of April election, Nicolás Maduro, gave notice about the American plot to assassinate him.
He accused Roger Noriega and Otto Reich, the former American officials of collaborating with the socialists and right-wingers to assassinate him and said: “The American Officials are after creating tensions and assassinating the anti-imperialist figures, with the help of their allies in the region”.
“They want to kill me, because they know that they won’t succeed in a free and fair election” added Maduro.
He considered assassination, destroying the national electricity network and the assassination of the president to create fear and unrest as what he called the evil purpose of the right-wingers.
“On the 14th of April, The people can decide which model of government they want [to rule the country], whether the Bolivarian, or independent democratic, or dependent on imperialism, or even the neo-liberal capitalism government” the interim president said.
It’s worth mentioning that the leftist Nicolás Maduro and the rightist Henrique Capriles Radonski are the main candidates for the new round of Venezuelan presidential election.
