Rasa - An official source at the Khalifa Foundation said that the People's Republic of China's largest mosque will be opened today.

RNA - One of the largest mosques in the People’s Republic of China which can accommodate more than 6000 worshipers will be opened today.


The mosque which has been funded by the a United Arab Emirates’ humanitarian agency named Khalifa Foundation was reportedly completed in a record time of less than nine month.


An official source at the Khalifa Foundation said the mosque can accommodate more than 6,000 worshipers.


The project is a contribution of the Khalifa Bin Foundation, in memory of the UAE founding father, the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
