Rasa News Agency reports –A court in Spain canceled the prohibition law of wearing niqab toward Muslim women in public states because of contradiction with freedom of religion.
“Prohibition of using niqab causes the increase in its use and may force some women to stay at home and can’t enter the Spanish society.” Supreme Court of Spain announced in a statement.
According to the statistics announced by the Islamic Commission, Spain has a million and four thousand Muslims, which form about three percent of countries population.
Islam is the second major religion of Spain after Christianity and since 1967 it was recognized according to the law of religious freedom.
