Rasa – The head of the Sunni scholars Council in Pakistan by referring to the sacrifices of Imam Khomeini to establish an Islamic government emphasized the necessity of Imam Khomeini’s ideals to rescue Pakistan.
Rasa News Agency – Maulana Muhammad Shoaib in an interview with The Urdu Islam Times, remembered Imam Khomeini as a great religious leader.
He expressed that Imam Khomeini tolerated lots of hardship for the Islamic Revolution in Iran and said: “We should use the ideals of Imam Khomeini. Following the demands of the Pakistani government means betrayal to the dear nation.”
Shoaib emphasized: “Imam Khomeini stood against the arrogant power of the time like Imam Hussein and never surrendered to them. Imam Khomeini tolerated lots of hardships until the Revolution succeeded and the Islamic government was established.”
Shoaib has criticized the absolute following of some Sunni scholars to the Pakistani government and expressed: “Going against the demands of the Pakistani government is the only way to rescue Pakistanis”.
