Rasa News Agency reports from Lebanon – In a statement released, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ali Fadhlullah, the son of the late Ayatollah Muhammad-Husayn Fadhlullah has stated, “that which is happening in occupied Palestine is much more dangerous than what is happening in other parts of the Arab and Muslim worlds.”
He stated that he was surprised by the “silence of Arab and Islamic countries in regard to the confiscation of Palestinian land.” The Zionist entity is committing genocide, destruction and killing, both directly and indirectly. They have wiped dozens of families out of existence through direct genocide and have confiscated their land, which constitutes an indirect genocide.
Sayyed Fadhlullah explained: “This has happened recently in the West Bank,” where the Zionist regime is planning on annexing surrounding Jewish-only settlements to the Gush Etzion settlement bloc near Bethlehem. The Lebanese Shi’ite scholar says this plan is to write off the existence of a viable Palestinian state with contiguous and secure borders.
He called on the Palestinian people to continue their resistance and to remain strong as this helped them in fight the enemy during the recent Gaza war. The Zionists seek an end to the Palestinian cause by working to exhaust and undermine the Palestinian people, their resistance, and livelihoods and by imposing harsh conditions on them. They seek to deceive them through negotiations – a scheme which aims at confiscating almost half the West Bank.
Sayyed Fadhlullah recommended that the various Palestinian factions to unite so that they are strong and capable of producing a new uprising which can regain the pre-1948 occupied territories and destroy Israel.
