Iranian Health Ministry spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour said on Friday that the total number ‎of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 95,646, while over 76,000 have recovered ‎from COVID-19.‎

RNA – Iranian Health Ministry spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour said on Friday that the total ‎number of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 95,646, while over 76,000 have ‎recovered from COVID-19.‎

‎“With 63 new deaths in the past 24 hours, the death toll from the virus has reached 6,091. ‎Unfortunately, we had 1,006 new cases since yesterday,” Jahanpour said on state TV.‎

He added that 95,646 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in the country.‎

Jahanpour also put the number of those who have so far recovered from the viral infection ‎at 76,318.‎

The coronavirus outbreak that originated in Wuhan, China, has infected over 3.3 million ‎people around the world. The global death toll from the pandemic is now more than ‎‎234,000.‎
