Bahraini officials have summoned a Shia Muslim cleric for interrogation as the ruling Al Khalifah dynasty presses ahead with its heavy-handed crackdown and persecution of members of the religious community in the tiny Persian Gulf kingdom.

Ayatollah Namazi said that the Arba’in pilgrimage has many effects and achievements and ‎said, “Thwarting the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam is one of these achievements.”‎

The revered source of emulation said, “We must always remember the martyrs and the ‎Sacred Defence and we must not forget these great achievements.”‎

The teacher in the Islamic Seminaries referred to the need for truthfulness, especially among ‎the officials of the country and urged them to avoid exaggeration in their reports.‎

 A source of emulation, based in Najaf Ashraf, stressed the necessity for upbringing children and future generations based on the original Islamic culture.

Ayatollah Arafi welcomed the preparation and formulation of “The Culture of the Declaration ‎of the Martyrs of the Islamic Seminaries” and expressed the readiness of the Islamic ‎Seminaries to complete this valuable project.‎

The chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic ‎‎Consultative Assembly said that if negotiations are to take place, the Iranian people will no ‎longer see happiness and added, “The United States is seeking to reduce Iran’s regional ‎influence and destroy its missile power.”‎

The office of Ayatollah Yaqubi, holding a session with the Mukeb holders of Arbaeen , announced that it is ready to host the pilgrims.
