A ceremony marking the celebration of the anniversary of the epic 9th of Dey [December 3] will be held with a speech by Ayatollah Mesbah-Yazdi at Feyziyeh Seminary of Qom. RNA – Speaking at a meeting of the Council of Culture of Qom province held in the meeting hall of the administration building of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Masumah, Mr. Nosratollah Lotfi referred to the Ten Days of Insight and stated, “During these ten days, there will be various programs taking place throughout the country and these programs will reach their peak on 9th of Dey [December 3].”
The deputy head of Islamic Development Coordinating Council added, “One of the important subjects that can be deduced from the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] is that we must not only limit the insight and identification of the dimensions of sedition to the sedition of 2009 and other seditions must also be addressed.”
Mr. Lotfi explained that the 9th of Dey must be taken into consideration and said, “This year the slogan of this day is ‘The Day of God, the 9th of Dey, is the Epitome of Insight, Adherence to Wilayah (Guardianship) and the Overcoming of Sedition’ and in the regard, the programs this week must be expedited.”
He pointed to the holding of the 9th of Dey program in Qom and said, “This year, a gathering by the revolutionary people of Qom will be held on Monday, the 9th of Dey at Feyziyeh Seminary and we will benefit from a speech by Ayatollah Mesbah-Yazdi.”
He added, “On this day, a march will be held from Feyziyeh Seminary school to the house of Imam Khomeyni on Ruhollah Square.”
Mr. Lotfi said, “In the last days of the Ten Days of Insight and on January 8th, we will have a meeting with the Supreme Leader in Qom and we will benefit from his courageous words.”
The 9th of Dey marks the anniversary of the massive rallies that were held on the 9th day of Iranian month of Dey (equivalent to December 30, 2009) in support of the Iran’s Islamic system of government to put an end to months of foreign-sponsored unrest in 2009.
