RNA - Mahdi Qaemi, the head of Informing and Promotion Committee of the second round of the International Quranic Competitions for the Seminary Students of the Islam world, pointing to opening programs of these competitions, said, “The opening ceremony will be held at 18, on Saturday, April 21, in Imam Kazim Seminary”.
He pointed out, “the inaugural ceremony will be opened by the prominent Quran reciter, Muhammad-Ali Forughi’s reciting some Quran verses and then the IRI national anthem will be played”.
The informing and promotion official of the second round of the International Quranic Competitions for Seminaries’ Students of the Islam World, pointing to the other opening programs of these competitions, said, “the Director General of the Endowment and Charity Affairs Organisation, Hujjat al-Islam Husseini Mughadam will deliver the inaugural speech welcoming the guests”.
He stated, “and the video message of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli will be played and then the participants will listen to the speech of the seminaries director, Ayatollah Aarafi”.
Ghaimpanah pointed out, “then the clip on Shaban Eids and Tawāshīḥ will be played, and finally the time-schedule of the programs performed during the competitions will be presented”.
Mentioning that 71 participants, from 46 countries, have qualified for the second round, he said, “the said people coming from countries such as Islamic Republic of Iran, Azerbaijan, Argentina, England, Bosnia, Pakistan, Turkey, Denmark, Senegal, Syria, Georgia, Lebanon, Mali, Egypt, Nigeria, India and Yemen will compete with each other in three areas of Quran reciting and interpretation, the whole Quran memorisation and interpretation, and Quranic sermon delivering.
