Rasa - The Islamic Council of Shia Scholars in Bahrain is planning to hold a conference titled “Hajj, Awakening of Hearts”.

Rasa News Agency Reports - The event will be held at Al-Sanabis Hussaynia (religious center) on Saturday, September 7, olamaa.net website reported. Vice-president of the council Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Aali as well as a number of scholars and local officials will take part in the conference.


It is aimed at discussing the issues related to Hajj and Hajj pilgrims, elevating coordination among officials of Hajj batches, and raising awareness about the importance of Hajj and its important role in the life of Muslims.


The council’s Culture Department, the organizer of the event, said among the main themes of the conference will be spiritual, intellectual and ethical achievements of Hajj for the pilgrims, the Fiqhi (jurisprudential) views, and maintaining the accomplishments of Hajj pilgrimage.


The council held such a conference last year, too, and published the points and discussions of the conference and distributed them among the Hajj pilgrims.
