Despite the fact that Saudi Arabia is the world’s largest oil producer with daily production of over 10 million barrels, many people in the Persian Gulf Arab state are living in poverty.

Rasa - Yet again the United States and its NATO allies have given the greenlight to the authoritarian regime in Bahrain to sentence another prominent human rights activist to many years in prison.

Rasa - Various terrorist groups, including ISIL, Al-Qaeda and their affiliates, continue to find themselves on America’s and Israel's good sides and it’s official.

Rasa - At the annual Munich Security Conference on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a piece of what he claimed to be a drone in hand to talk about the need for region-wide military action against what he called the “Iranian empire.”

Rasa - While Baghdad says more than $100 billion is needed to rebuild the immeasurable damage the United States inflicted on Iraq, Washington insists it can only offer just about $3 billion in loans, loan guarantees and insurance funds to American firms investing in the war-torn country!

Rasa - The leadership of Iran, Russia and Turkey have all agreed to attend an upcoming summit in Istanbul on the topic of Syria, with the date for the meeting to be decided soon. Looming large over this is US relations.
