Rasa News Agency reports - On the occasion of the upcoming holy month of Ramadhan, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s national media is preparing to broadcast a wide variety of educational and ethical programs led by several prominent sources of emulation.

Iran’s media corporations, including the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), are planning to broadcast short sermons of the sources of emulation during iftar, when Muslims break their dawn-to-dusk fast.

The sermons on educational and ethics topics that will be broadcasted during the holy month include those by Ayatollah’s Naser Makarem-Shirazi, Ja’far Sobhani and Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani.

The sermons which will be broadcasted by Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi include a series of discussions entitled “Makarem al-Akhlaq (The Noble Moral Traits),” which will be a continuation of the discussions His Eminence lead last Ramadhan on IRIB’s Channel 3. On IRIB’s Channel 3, Ayatollah Sobhani’s lectures on “Oaths of the Quran” will be broadcasted. A series of lectures on by Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani will also begin during the holy month of Ramadhan entitled “The Fountain of Knowledge.” These will be shown on IRIB’s Channel 1.

These series of lectures, as in years past, will be broadcasted prior to the broadcasting of a series of special Ramadhan serials on all of IRIB’s channels.
