Rasa - Ayatollah Safi-Golpaygani has met with Ayatollah Alavi-Gorgani as well as several other important personalities at his home in Qom.
Rasa News Agency reports – On Thursday, June 19, Grand Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi-Golpaygani held a meeting with Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad-Ali Alavi-Gorgani at his home in the holy city of Qom.
At the meeting, these two prominent personalities discussed and addressed the major issues facing the Islamic world and the Islamic seminaries.
Also, on Thursday, several other great scholars held separate meetings with Ayatollah Safi-Golpaygani. These were: Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mahmoud Alavi, the Minister of Information; Ayatollah Abdol-Karim Haqiqat, one of the scholars of Shiraz; and several scholars from both Esfahan and Mashhad.
