Rasa - The President of al-Mustafa International University, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Arafi, stressed the need for the unity of the Muslim ummah (community) and said that Muslims must thwart any attempts against unity in a speech today at Imam Khomeini (RA) University.

Rasa News Agency reports - “The Islamic Revolution was the greatest service to Islam but extremists are always striking a blow [at Muslim unity],” Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Ali-Reza Arafi said in a speech marking the university of the Islamic Revolution at Imam Khomeini Specialized University (a branch of al-Mustafa International University) in the holy city of Qom.

 

“More than ever, we need to strengthen and promote our religious principles on the international scene,” stressed Hujjat al-Islam Arafi in regard to the numerous attacks and plots against Islam which have been orchestrated by the enemies of Islam. He emphasized the necessity of the presence of religious scholars in religious discourse in order to promote Islam in various academic fields in order to combat the enemies’ malicious plots.

 

“al-Mustafa International University is in pursuit of students and scholars who will be effective in global scientific discourse,” Hujjat al-Islam Arafi stated.

 

Discord and disunity in the Islamic ummah are the greatest threats to Islam and we must avoid falling into discord,” he warned the students and scholars present, who are from over 60 different countries.
