Syria in Last 24 Hours:
Rasa - The Damascus Army managed to fend off ISIL's heavy offensives in Toloul al-Safa region in the Eastern desert of Sweida, inflicting major losses on the terrorists over the past 24 hours after ISIL's hostages in Eastern Homs were freed by the army the day before.

RNA - The Syrian army units engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL in several flanks in Toloul al-Safa in the Eastern desert of Sweida.

 

The ISIL carried out several suicide attacks on the army.

 

The army inflicted heavy casualties on the ISIL and repelled the terrorists' raids.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Sweida

 

The Syrian Army troops managed to fend off ISIL's heavy offensives in Toloul al-Safa region in the Eastern desert of Sweida, inflicting major losses on the terrorists on Saturday after ISIL's hostages in Eastern Homs were freed by the army on Friday.

 

The army units engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL in several flanks in Toloul al-Safa in the Eastern desert of Sweida.

 

The ISIL carried out several suicide attacks on the army.

 

The army inflicted heavy casualties on the ISIL and repelled the terrorists' raids.

 

In the meantime, the Russian fighter jets and the Syrian Army artillery units pounded ISIL's movements in Toloul al-Safa and imposed major losses on them.

 

The ISIL's heavy assaults came after the army's elite forces freed entire civilians that the ISIL had captured and jailed in Humeimeh region Northeast of Palmyra and killed the entire ISIL gunmen.

 

In the meantime, a number of people in Israeli-occupied Golan in Quneitra hoisted Syrian government's flag in the main square of Majdal Shams, celebrating liberation of ISIL's hostages.   

 

Hama

 

A new military convoy of the Turkish Army, accompanied by terrorists, arrived in Northern Hama on Saturday amid the terrorist groups' provocative measures against the Syrian Army in the demilitarized zone.

 

The military convoy, including several vehicles, arrived in Northern Syria accompanied by Faylaq al-Sham terrorists.

 

The convoy arrived further in the small town of al-Latamina in the demilitarized zone.

 

In the meantime, local sources said that the military men in the convoy held a meeting with Jeish al-Izzah terrorists.

 

They further said that Turkish convoy's arrival in the region came after the terrorist groups, deployed in the demilitarized zone in Lattakia, Hama, Idlib and Aleppo provinces, have not thus far withdrawn from the zone and rather been targeting the Syria army.

 

Idlib

 

Ahrar al-Sham has called on other terrorist groups in Northern Syria to join an imminent large-scale attack on the Syrian Army in Idlib amid provocative measures by Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) in the demilitarized zone, a Russian media outlet reported on Saturday.

 

The Arabic-language website of Sputnik quoted residents of the town of Jisr al-Shughour in the demilitarized zone in Western Idlib as disclosing that Tahrir al-Sham and Turkistani Islamic Party have staged a parade with their tanks, cannons and heavy machineguns.

 

It went on to say that over 500 terrorists took part in the military parade that covered Jisr al-Shughour and several villages and small towns in the region.

 

The report said that Jaber Ali Basha, a commander of Ahrar al-Sham affiliated to the National Liberation Front, called on the other terrorist groups to prepare and join a heavy attack on the army in Idlib province.

 

Aleppo

 

Commanders of the US-backed militias continue stealing antiques in Manbij region in Northeastern Aleppo, a militant-affiliated news website reported on Saturday.

 

Orient news website reported that the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been excavating in Manbij region's historical sites in Northeastern Aleppo to find and steal artifacts.

 

It further said that the SDF has excavated a historical site know as Romanian Qanat (water canal) near the town of Manbij, adding that the SDF has dug two tunnels near the Qanat in Jablat Um al-Sa'an region under the supervision of SDF Commander Jamil Mazloum and unnamed another commander.

 

The news website went on to say that the SDF utilizes the Kurdish members for such operation as it does not believe in the Arab members.
