RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Mojtaba Zonnour, the representative of the people of Qom in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, spoke at a mourning ceremony marking the death anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad and the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba which was held at the office of Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani in the presence of this revered source of emulation.
The member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly called for an explanation of the dimensions of the comprehensive war by the enemies against the Islamic ummah.
He considered the Zionist ideology to be a serious threat to divine religions, especially Islam and added, “All of the attempts by the Zionists have created a crisis in the Islamic ummah and with events like September 11th, they have tried to bring the world to ourselves in order to carry out their evil objectives.”
Hujjat al-Islam Zonnour stating that the Zionists are seeking to promote their evil ideology by choosing their homeland and state-building and said, “Many American politicians in both parties [the Republican and Democratic parties] are Zionists who support the crimes of the Zionists and are the enemies of Islam.”
He added, “American politicians accept Zionism as a religious and political belief and do not value its opponents and the American presidents have explicitly declared their commitment to the Zionist ideology.”
Hujjat al-Islam Zonnour argued that the Zionists consider Islam as a serious obstacle to them and noted, “Zionist ideology threatens humanity and must stand against it because this ideology only gives the right to life to those who believe in it.”
