Syria in Last 24 Hours:
Rasa - The Damascus Army continued pounding the remaining ISIL terrorists in the Eastern desert of Homs over the past 24 hours, and imposed control over several villages and small but key towns.

RNA - The Syrian Army forces clashed with the ISIL in the Eastern deserts of Homs near the al-Sukhnah desert and roads to the border with Iraq, seizing more lands.

 

The army units drove ISIL out of the villages of al-Nayarah, al-Rashediyeh and al-Sawarem in the depth of the Eastern deserts after imposing heavy casualties on the terrorists.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Homs

 

The Syrian Army continued storming the remaining pockets of ISIL in the Eastern desert of Homs on Sunday, imposing control over several villages and small but key towns.

 

The army forces clashed with ISIL in the Eastern deserts of Homs near the al-Sukhnah desert and roads to the border with Iraq, seizing more lands.

 

The army units drove ISIL out of the villages of al-Nayarah, al-Rashediyeh and al-Sawarem in the depth of the Eastern deserts after imposing heavy casualties on the terrorists.

 

In the meantime, the country's Air Force pounded ISIL's movements along contact lines with the terrorists in al-Sukhna desert to the border with Iraq, near Aweiraz Dam, in T2 Oil Pumping Station and near Homs border with Deir Ezzur, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

 

Idlib

 

The Syrian Army sent more troops and equipment to the Northwestern parts of the country on Sunday to reinvigorate its combat capabilities for an imminent major operation in Idlib province.

 

The army forwarded a long convoy of military vehicles and tank-carrying trucks along with a large number of fresh soldiers to Idlib and Northern Hama to end terrorists' presence in Idlib, Aleppo, Lattakia, and Hama provinces.

 

In the meantime, a field source reported that hundreds of fresh army men have been deployed at contact lines with Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorists and militants of the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin in recent days.

 

The sources further said that the army is planning to kick off a large-scale operation in different flanks to liberate Idlib province.

 

Meanwhile, the Arabic-language al-Mayadeen TV Network reported that the terrorists that come from China and are known as Uyghur as well as Turkistani and Uzbek militants have transferred their family members to the borders with Turkey in Idlib and Lattakia provinces.

 

Sweida

 

The Syrian Army men imposed control over more ISIL positions in Toloul al-Safa in the Eastern desert of Sweida on Sunday.

 

The army units, backed up by the artillery units and Air Force, engaged in fresh fighting with the terrorists Northwest of Toloul al-Safa, taking control over more positions in the rocks.

 

The army men further advanced and captured the last water pond under ISIL's control.

 

At least ten ISIL snipers were killed and the remaining pockets of the terrorists retreated to the depth of the rocks during the army operation.

 

A field source said that the army men advanced 300 m in Qabr Sheikh Hossein region, adding that the army has started fortifying the newly-captured positions.

 

Hasaka

 

A number of US soldiers were killed and wounded after ISIL targeted their column in Hasaka city on Sunday, a Lebanese media outlet reported.

 

According to Fars News Agancy, the Arabic-language al-Manar News Network reported that a number of US army soldiers were killed or wounded in an ISIL attack on their convoy in Hasaka city in Northeastern Syria.

 

It further said that the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has put its gunmen on alert after the ISIL attack, adding that an increasing number of SDF militants are defecting the Washington-backed group.

 

Elsewhere, the news network said that people in the village of al-Tayaneh in Zebyan region in Hasaka demonstrated against the SDF's brutal measures in the region.

 

Quneitra

 

The Syrian Army raised the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic over another town in Quneitra province.

According to a military communiqué in Quneitra, the Syrian Army raised their national flag over the town of Beir Ajam, which is located just East of the occupied Golan Heights, the AMN reported.

 

The Syrian Army reportedly cleared Beir Ajam of all explosives that were left behind by terrorists that once controlled the town.

 

In the coming days, the Syrian Army is expected to raise their national flag over more towns that have been cleared of explosives in Quneitra and Dara’a provinces.
