RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ali-Akbar Hoseyninejad, the head of the Association of the Representatives of Seminarians, offered an important assessment of increasing Iran’s national power and said, “The immense military capabilities, the quantitative and qualitative increase of national production and the satisfaction of the people and public support for the Islamic Revolution are among the components of the power and dignity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

The Iranian cleric added, “It is imperative for all people and institutions of the Islamic system of government, especially the forces of the three branches of governments, to strive to protect this important point and take action in this manner.”

He stressed that as much as spiritual dimension of Iranian society grows, the country’s national power will increase and said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran, supported by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei] and with the support of the people, has so far been able to resist the conspiracies of the enemies against the system.”

Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyninejad said that the officials must not act in a precarious manner against the enemies of the system and noted, “The active participation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various international arenas can add to the power of Iran in the world.”

His Eminence stated, “Without doubt, the hatred of the enemies toward the honourable nation of Iran has not diminished but the form and methods of their hostility have changed. They do not accept our religion, our Revolution and our slogans. Therefore, at all costs, they want to demonstrate religion and the Revolution as ineffective.”

Saying that if we show the slightest weakness, the enemies will exploit it, he noted, “Not acting on the pillars of the Resistance Economy will add to the livelihood problems of the people and, as a result, will undermine the system.”

Expressing his grievances that some officials were insisting on following Western forms of governance, Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyninejad said, “Western countries are themselves bankrupt, so why must some feel weak in the face of these countries and seek to follow them?”

The head of the Association of the Representatives of Seminarians stated, “The Islamic Republic of Iran faced difficult conditions during the eight years of the Imposed War [Iran-Iraq War] and faced many shortcomings but resisted with all its strength against the aggressors.”

He added, “The secret of victory in the Imposed War was the unity and solidarity of the people and the officials of the system. They worked together to build the country and eventually succeeded in overcoming the problems.”

Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyninejad, emphasizing that nothing is worse than the allegiance of some of the country’s officials to the enemies, said, “Unfortunately, some officials today, in addition to surrendering to the enemies, behave and act in such a manner that confirms the hostility of the United States and the West against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

He considered the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as the greatest experience of the country’s officials in exchange for trusting the United States and the West, and stated, “The only way out of the country’s economic problems is to act on the Resistance Economy, adhere to the commands of the Supreme Leader and pay attention to the demands of the people and in solidarity with them.”
