RNA - Addressing a large and fervent congregation of the people in Tehran on Friday, Ayatollah Emami Kashani said, "Creating differences among the nation is what the enemies and Zionists are looking for."

"The enemies are forcefully heading towards us; we have to resist against the enemy with all our means," he added.

In relevant remarks in late June, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani blasted the US and its regional allies for fueling insecurity and instability in the region, and said that the Muslim countries should resist Washington's bullying.

"The US, the Zionist regime and certain regional countries have leading role in major crises in the region," Shamkhani said in a meeting with National Security Advisor to the Iraqi Prime Minister Faleh al-Fayad.

He underlined that some countries that think they can ensure their own security and stability of the region by putting their trust in the United States are practically bolstering terrorism, and said, "The White House leaders do not even hesitate to shamelessly attack Iraqi and Syrian armed forces in order to support terrorism."

According to Fars News Agancy, Shamkhani reiterated that Iran has always stood by the Iraqi people.

"It is Tehran's unwavering stance to support the Iraqi nation's demands in line with the war-ravaged country's development and progress, particularly after the defeat of terrorism," he added.
