RNA - "What has been released in the media about your remarks that if the Islamic Republic of Iran's oil is not exported, there will be no guarantee for export of oil from any other point in this region, and the highly valuable remarks about the Islamic Republic of Iran's position on the Zionist regime is a source of pride and honor," General Soleimani said in a letter to Rouhani on Wednesday.

He praised President Rouhani for his timely, wise and correct comments, and underlined his preparedness to exercise any policy that is in the interest of the Islamic Republic.

Addressing a group of Iranians in Switzerland on Monday night, Rouhani warned his US counterpart Donald Trump that any attempts to block Iran's oil sale would have dire consequences.

"It would be meaningless that Iran cannot export its oil while others in the region can. If Iran can't then no other country in the region can export crude either. Do this if you can and see its consequences," President Rouhani said.

According to Fars News Agancy, he also underlined that Tehran will never give in to pressure forced upon it by foreign countries

"We told all our foreign parties that if they speak to the Iranian nation with the language of logic and respect, then we can get problems solved problems... and that threats, pressure and humiliation will never work against the people of Iran," Rouhani said.

Also, in a joint press conference with his Swiss counterpart Berset in Bern on Tuesday, President Rouhani underlined Tehran and Bern's consensus on the necessity for the continued implementation of the 2015 nuclear deal after the US withdrawal, and also said that Iran stressed the illegitimacy of the Israeli regime.

"Because Mr. President (Alain Berset) referred to the issue of the Zionist regime (during the press conference), I underline that I have clearly said in my yesterday talks with him that Iran considers the Zionist regime as illegitimate and considers its activities in the region as aggressive," President Rouhani said.
