Rasa - Israeli forces detained early Tuesday 12 Palestinians form Shufat refugee camp in Jerusalem, sent a Jerusalem resident into exile in the West Bank for one month and detained 12 more from the West Bank, according to local sources and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

RNA - Sources said Israeli forces raided Shufat camp, Northeast of Jerusalem, and detained 12 residents without giving any reason for the detention, WAFA reported.

 

Meanwhile, Israeli police ordered Udai Sonokrot, from Ras al-Amoud neighborhood of East Jerusalem, to be sent into exile to the West Bank for one month.

 

Sonokrot, married with two children, had underwent 32 days of interrogation at the Russian Compound police station in West Jerusalem and then placed under house arrest for eight days at his in-laws Old City home, barred from seeing his father for one week and barred from travel abroad for six months.

 

He was also fined around $3,000 and two of his relatives had to bail him with $30,000.

 

Soldiers detained two sisters during a raid of Izzariyeh, East of Jerusalem.

 

They also detained seven Palestinians from the Northern West Bank city of Nablus, two of them detained after they were shot and injured during clashes in the city, and one each from Beit Rima near Ramallah, Tulkarm district and Jenin district.
