Syria in Past 24 Hours:
Rasa - The Syrian army dispatched a large number of forces and equipment to Western Idlib on Wednesday to pave the ground for a major assault on Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra front) in Jisr al-Shughour region.

RNA - The Syrian army dispatched a large number of forces and equipment to Western Idlib on Wednesday to pave the ground for a major assault on Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra front) in Jisr al-Shughour region.

 

Idlib

 

The army has forwarded hundreds of fresh forces and a large volume of military hardware to al-Ghaab plain in Western Idlib.

 

Military sources said that the army is planning to launch an large-scale operation in Western Idlib that is the main base of Tahrir al-Sham and al-Turkistani.

 

The Syrian and Russian fighter jets have been bombing heavily terrorists' movement and positions in Western Idlib in recent days.

 

Also in the past 24 hours, the Syrian Air Force carried out a fresh combat flight over terrorists' positions in Southern Idlib, destroying a large depot of arms and ammunition.

 

The warplanes bombed terrorists' positions in the village of al-Zakah in Southern Idlib, destroying a large depot of arms and ammunition.

 

Also in the past 24 hours, infighting among Eastern Ghouta terrorists that were recently forced to retreat to Northern Syria under an evacuation agreement with Damascus disclosed that Faylaq al-Rahman was behind stealing historical artifacts from a church in Jobar region in Eastern Damascus.

 

A fresh round of infighting between commanders of Faylaq al-Rahman and other Jobar's militant commanders in Northern Syria, caused Jobar Local Council to accuse Faylaq al-Rahman and its commander Abdul Nasser Shamir of stealing historical artifacts and manuscripts form a Synagogue (Jewish Church) in Jobar region.

 

The council had previously called on Faylaq al-Rahman to hand over the stolen artifacts to the council by Faylaq rejects the offer.

 

Damascus

 

Hundreds of terrorists and their family members left three key regions in the Southern part of Damascus province for Northern Syria on Wednesday.

 

The sixth group of terrorists and their family members left Yalda, Bebeila and Beit Saham regions in the Southern part of Damascus province for Northern Syria on 37 buses.

 

In the meantime, the second group of terrorists, including a large number of commanders and family members, whose total number stood at 3,000 left Northern Homs and Southern Hama for Northern Syria on 40 buses and 57 vehicles.

 

Most of the terrorist commanders and other members of the terrorist groups that had previously left the Old Homs and had been transferred to Northern Homs left the region for Northern Syria.

 

Also on Wednesday, the Syrian army continued to advance against ISIL in several flanks, laying siege on the terrorists in several areas in the Southern part of Damascus province.

 

The army men managed to push ISIL back from more positions South of Yarmouk Camp and entered al-Taqadom neighborhood after imposing control over al-Aroubeh street.

 

The army soldiers further managed to drive a wedge between al-Taqadom and the main entrance to Yarmouk Camp.

 

Other units of the army advanced towards Yarmouk Camp from Yalda region and imposed control over the Sports City at al-Maqarebeh street Southeast of the Camp.

 

Other army men stormed ISIL positions South of al-Tazamon neighborhood near Da'aboul street and seized control over the street and Tuesday Bazaar.

 

In the meantime, the army's artillery and missile units and aircraft pounded terrorists' movements and positions in Hajar al-Aswad, Yarmouk Camp, al-Zobeir, Abu Torabi areas and South of al-Tazamon neighborhood.

 

A field source said meantime that the ISIL terrorists have now come under the army's siege in several areas following the government forces' advances in the region.  

 

Also, Syria's state news agency reported on Wednesday that the Syrian Army air defense units intercepted two Israeli missiles fired at the Southern part of Damascus province.

 

SANA reported that the air defense units intercepted 2 Israeli missiles fired at al-Keswah region in Southern Damascus on Tuesday nights.

 

In the meantime, al-Jazeera TV channel reported that the Israeli missile attack was launched to target a militant base in Southern Damascus.

 

Also, al-Mayadeen TV quoted sources in Quneitra province as reporting that three Israeli missiles were fired from the occupied Golan Heights at Syrian territories.

 

The sources further told al-Mayadeen that the Israeli warplanes were flying over the Golan Heights, underlining the possibility that the fighter jets fired the missile at Syria's soil.

 

Local sources in Southern Damascus said that two civilians were killed due to the interception of Israeli missiles near al-Keswah reign at Damascus-Dara'a highway, but did not present any further details on the incident.

 

Aleppo

 

A long convoy of Turkish Army vehicles arrived in Western Aleppo on Wednesday to set up the tenth truce monitoring point.

 

The Turkish army sent a convoy, including 60 military armored and military vehicles, to al-Rashedeen strategic region in Western Aleppo via Kafr Luseen passageway.

 

Militant-affiliated sources claimed that the Turkish army is planning to set up its tenth truce monitoring point after arrival of the new convoy.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The Syrian Army sends more fresh forces and military equipment to Southeastern Deir Ezzur on Wednesday to continue attacks on remaining pockets of the ISIL near the town of al-Mayadeen.

 

The army plans to send tens of fresh forces, several tanks and a large volume of heavy military equipment to Southeastern Deir Ezzur to hunt the remaining pockets of ISIL terrorists to restore more security to al-Mayadeen.

 

The army has driven ISIL out of vast lands near al-Mayadeen in the last three days.

 

Also on Wednesday, the Syrian army troops stormed the positions of the remaining pockets of ISIL terrorists in Southeastern Damascus and took control over a strategic region near the town of al-Mayadeen.

 

The army men and popular forces engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL 50 km  South of al-Mayadeen and pushed the terrorists back from the village of Feizeh Bin Moyna'a in Syria's Badiyeh (desert).

 

A large number of terrorists were killed or wounded and their military equipment were destroyed in the operation.

 

Hasaka

 

The US dispatched more weapons and military equipment to the Kurdish militias in Hasaka province on Wednesday in spite of Washington's claims over withdrawal of forces from Syria.

 

The new convoy of US arms and ammunition entered Syria via Simalka passageway at the border with Iraq.

 

Also, field sources said that several US military trucks, carrying arms and equipment, arrived in Syria in the last two day, adding that a part of the convoy was sent to Southern Hasaka.

 

The Kurdish militias said last week that they would start large-scale operation against ISIL in Southeastern Hasaka and Eastern Deir Ezzur.

 

The Kurds later started the operation and managed to capture Eslah Hajin region near the town of Hajin in Southeastern Deir Ezzur in their anti-ISIL operation.

 

Raqqa

 

Kurdish militias embarked on expelling civilians from their region in Raqqa province on Wednesday to set up a new military base in the region.

 

According to Fars News Agancy, the Kurds gave three days to civilians in Shalihat Ayed region in al-Tabaqa city in Western Raqqa to leave their residential units.

 

Local sources said that the Kurdish militias' move was aimed at setting up a military base for the American and French forces in a region which enjoys good geographical situation for such activity.

 

Dara'a

 

Hamada Sari al-Sharqawi, a field commander of Shohada Nowa terrorist group, was gunned down by unknown attackers in No rthwestern Dara'a on Wednesday.

 

Hamada Sari al-Sharqawi, the commander of Shohada Nowa terrorist group affiliated to the Free Syrian Army (FSA), was killed by unknown raiders in the town of Nowa in Northwestern Dara'a.

 

Assassination of an increasing number of commanders, specially by means of gunfire, is an unprecedented move in Dara'a, as assassination operations were mostly carried out via roadside bomb blast.
