Rasa – Ayatollah Alamolhoda called on the necessity for the Friday Prayer Leader’s Policy Council to plan in order to counter the media outlets designed by the enemies.
RNA – Speaking at a ceremony to introduce and appoint the new and old chairmen of the country’s Friday Prayer Leader’s Policy Council, Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Alamolhoda, the Friday prayer leader of the holy city of Mashhad, referred to the organization of the Friday prayer leaders throughout Iran and stated, “There was a day when a Friday prayer leader was traveling to a region, there was no prayer hall, there was no office to lodge or a car for hire to travel to various regions, but today we are observing that in the farthest places, there are basic facilities available and the Friday prayer leaders do not have any concerns about this.”
The senior Iranian cleric added that the selection of merciful attributes by the leadership of the Friday Prayer Leader’s Policy Council has its own subtlety and said, “The Friday prayer leaders, while having mercy and compassion, must have this kind of mercy to reach out to all of society.”
He called on the necessity for this council to plan in order to counter the media outlets designed by the enemies and said, “In the contamination of the media, the enemies seek to take the title of righteousness from the institution of the Friday prayer leaders and show this institution as one-sided and in this way, they do not refrain from any sort of hypocrisy. The management of the Friday prayer leaders must act in strong opposition against the propaganda by the enemies.”
Ayatollah Alamolhoda added, “The Friday prayer leader is the element and platform of Friday prayers and it is possible that he may perform its duty properly but the flourishing of this platform must be included in the plans of the Friday Prayer Leader’s Policy Council in various aspects. The continuation of the platform is with the Friday prayer leader but its impact on today’s political and social fervour is with the Friday Prayer Leader’s Policy Council.”
