RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon’s Sayyidah al-Zahra Complex, Ayatollah Afif al-Nablusi said, “When we look at the developments that have occurred in Palestine, we realize the level that the Arabs have reached.”

The senior Lebanese Shi’ah cleric added, “The Arabs promised after the Zionist occupation of their country in 1948 to liberate Palestine quickly and the days passed without any of this happening at all.”

Ayatollah al-Nablusi stated that it has become clear to all that these promises were only aimed at wasting time and calming the situation so that the Zionists could achieve their aims.

He stated that a sick or dead Arab man was never able to do anything and he only knows submission, paying homage, normalization and acquiescence to the conditions of the United States and the Zionist regime.”

His Eminence continued, “From now on, it is not permissible to rely on or trust the promises of the Arabs, especially since the Arabs are drowned in sedition, conflict and dependency.”

The Friday prayer leader of Sidon stated that the Islamic Resistance is the only remaining means to defeat the enemies and said, “Our hope remains in the loyal and heroic youths who have been fighting the enemies with stones and knives and to the sincere and resistant forces who have defeated the Zionists in Lebanon and terrorism in Iraq and Syria.”

In conclusion, Ayatollah al-Nablusi emphasized that these free and noble people are the hope of the present and future of the ummah but the result of the trust in Arab regimes are only a mirage.”

Fresh clashes have broken out between Palestinian protesters and Israeli forces across the West Bank over US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as the Israeli “capital” in defiance of international condemnations.
