Rasa – The leader of Iraq’s Sadrist Movement congratulated the country’s religious authorities and seminaries on the complete liberation of the country from terrorism.

RNA – According to Rasa News Agency, in a message issued by Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of Iraq’s Sadrist Movement, the political figure congratulated the complete liberation of Iraq from the hands of Daesh terrorists to “the people of Iraq, the sources of emulation, the seminaries, the military, the warriors, the martyrs and Iraq’s Prime Minister Haydar al-Abadi.” 

 

He stressed that the patience and resistance of the people of Iraq led to victory over Daesh.

 

The Leader of the Iraqi Sadrist Movement highlighted that the day of the complete victory of terrorism as a national holiday, adding, “Thus, the people should celebrate this day.”

 

He continued, “The Iraqi people today have triumphed over terrorism and tomorrow it is the turn of victory over corruption.”

 

Iraqi Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Haydar al-Abadi, officially announced the total liberation of the country from terrorism on Saturday.
