RNA – According to Rasa News Agency, a group of Bahraini Shiite scholars, in a message issued on Friday, reacted to US President Donald Trump’s announcement of the transfer of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds and the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist regime.

“The recent remarks by the President of the United States regarding al-Quds are an important test for the dignity of the Islamic Ummah and their commitment to values,” the message states.

The Bahraini scholars also added, “We believe that the Zionist occupiers are coming to their end and Palestine will return to its Arab and Muslim owners.”

“What happened reflects the animosity of the American government towards Islam and Muslims as a whole and also the dependence of American government towards Zionist Jews,” the Bahraini scholars said.

They added, “The United States dares to ignore all international condemnations and demands and confiscate the sacred lands of Muslims. They’ve even ignored their own allies in doing so.”

Bahraini scholars demanded the “brave Muslims of Bahrain” to continue defending “al-Quds and Palestine.”

Hundreds of people staged rallies across Bahrain in a show of solidarity with the Palestinian nation and to roundly condemn the recent decision by US President Donald Trump to recognize Israeli-occupied Jerusalem al-Quds as the capital of the Tel Aviv regime.
