RNA – In a meeting with a group of forces of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from Tehran at his office in Qom on Tuesday, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani stressed upon promoting the life of Prophet Muhammad and his valuable teachings since such lessons are of great importance in present era.

“The Holy Prophet was raised as an orphan in poverty and he worked as a shepherd and was also unlearned, yet God Almighty revealed the Quran to his heart,” he said.

The revered source of emulation added, “According to the Holy Quran, Muslims must not take the enemies as their guardians. However, some Islamic countries are serving the interests of the Zionist Regime instead of abiding by the teachings of the Holy Quran. They claim to be the ‘Custodians of the Two Holy Mosques,’ a claim which is far from reality.”

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani added, “We see that Saudi Arabia, which publishes millions of copies of the Holy Quran every year, doesn’t pay attention to the verses about hostility of taking the Jews and Christians as guardians.”

The distinguished professor in the Islamic Seminary of Qom added, “Today, Saudi Arabia is a slave of the United States and the Zionists, and the reason for the problems of the Islamic world is that they have not acted in the Quran.”

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani noted, “The reason that the Islamic community is faced with so many challenges and injustice in today’s world is due to the fact that some Muslim nations overlook the Quran and don’t act according to its valuable teachings for life.”
