RNA – Speaking to Rasa News Agency at the 23rd Press and Media Exhibition in Tehran, Hujjat al-Islam Ali Fallahian, Iran’s former Minister of Information, referred to the emphasis by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, to build a safe economy and said, “The Supreme Leader has many concerns about the creation of a safe economy and insists that the economic process be reformed.”
He added, “The reason for these concerns is that the global arrogance have targeted Iran’s economy to put pressure on the people. However, the enemies have also entered Iran’s military and cultural affairs but the most important task of the global arrogance is to prevent Iran and other independent states from standing on their feet.”
Hujjat al-Islam Ali Fallahian stated, “When I was a minister, I saw that the Americans interfered with their agents in the production and sale of rubber, and in the present era this is also true. The enemies have many agents who somehow create problems for Iran’s economy regarding finances and the employment of people.”
The Iranian cleric said, “Many people who engaged in this betrayal don’t know that the enemies’ intelligence agents, with the help of some, for example, buy factories and put them to work in order to harm them. The enemies stand against the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran and resist them.”
He noted that, in addition to security, military and cultural issues, economic issues have also been the subject of serious attacks by the enemies and said, “The enemies want to make the people dissatisfied so that the people turn away from the country’s Islam system of government and one of the important methods in which they seek to fulfill this is through economic issues.”
The former information minister said, “The keenness and vigilance of economic managers, given the conditions, is very important and they must be careful not to engage in scams, fraud, manipulation and destruction. In the current era, when we observe the extent of the work that these apparatuses have, they don’t have the opportunity to undertake these important issues and many times, these same issues are harmed.”
Hujjat al-Islam Ali Fallahian noted that the economy of the country should be executed in such a way that disruption and sanctions don’t have any effect on it and added, “The Supreme Leader stated that since the enemies are attacking, we must be careful. Administrative structures must also comply with international standards and there must be interactions but we must know that we are in a minefield and the enemies are trying to create disruption with every piece of information that they are getting.”
