RNA – In a conversation with Reza News Agency, Ayatollah Hasan Mamdouhi, a member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, said that the nonsensical and flagrant statements made by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, on October 13th are a result of a “psychological imbalance.”
The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom added, “Everyone who distances themselves from God, his Lord also leaves him alone. With their behaviour and statements, the American government is bringing dishonour to their country in the world. The United States thinks that the Islamic Republic of Iran is an enemy, while there is no greater enemy than them.”
Ayatollah Mamdouhi said that the United States has acted in such a way that the entire world has become their enemy, and noted, “The United States has taken the East and the West in their claws and has tormented every nation in one way or an other.”
“The hostile behaviour of the Americans towards independent countries is causing insecurity for them. We hope that God Almighty afflicts and destroys the government officials of the United States so that they do harm the people of the world,” he added.
His Eminence said that the Iranian authorities must confront the enemies by placing the advice of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, on the forefront of their actions, saying, “The Supreme Leader has very precisely and wisely declared that we must not trust the arrogant powers, especially the Americans, and must not rely on them.”
Ayatollah Mamdouhi said, “It should be noted that the enemies are not trustworthy and we cannot rely on them in any way. So far, everyone who has relied on the enemies has been drowned and the experiences of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) must be taken into consideration by individuals in order that they realize that trusting in the enemies is not beneficial.”
He said that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) are seen as a thorn in the eyes of the enemies and pointed out, “With the recent nonsensical statements by the United States, the world now realizes that the IRGC have validity on the path of resistance and if the enemies had defined the IRGC in a positive manner, we should be surprised. That the enemies speak against the IRGC, it is proof of the correctness of the path of the IRGC and their strength and authority.”
In his speech on October 13th, Trump maliciously and arrogantly outlined the United States’ strategy regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He refused to certify the JCPOA, which is an international nuclear agreement between Iran and the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany, and warned he might ultimately terminate it, in defiance of other world powers and undermining a landmark victory of multilateral diplomacy.
Trump also said he would choose not to certify that Tehran is complying with the nuclear deal.
