Rasa - The Syrian army troops continued their advances in Southwestern Homs, and managed to recapture a strategic town in the area, inflicting heavy losses on the ISIL terrorists.

RNA - The government forces took full control of al-Quaryatayn town in Southwestern Homs.

 

The army units hit hard the ISIL's defense lines in Southwestern Homs.

 

The Syrian troops killed several terrorists and injured many more in fierce clashes over controlling of the strategic town. They also destroyed military equipment of the terrorists.

 

The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.

 

Homs

 

The Syrian Army troops imposed full control over the town of al-Quaryatayn in Southwestern Homs on Saturday, inflicting major losses on ISIL terrorists.

 

The army men engaged in a tough battle with ISIL and prevailed over their defense lines around the town of al-Quaryatayn, pushing the terrorists back from the entire neighborhoods in the town.

 

A number of ISIL terrorists were killed and many others were captured by the army men.

 

Relevant reports said earlier on Saturday that the army units launched the final phase of their offensive on ISIL's defense lines South-West of Homs province and captured several military positions after taking control over Tal (hill) Dakar North of the terrorist-held town of al-Quaryatayn.

 

The army soldiers managed to enter several buildings in the Northern direction of al-Quaryatayn, starting mop-up operation in the farms near the town.

 

Once al-Quaryatayn is taken back, the army men can continue their cleansing operations around the town to destroy the ISIL’s sleeper cells.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The Syrian Army troops managed to drive the ISIL out of al-Amr oilfield in Eastern Deir Ezzur, field sources confirmed on Saturday.

 

The sources said that the army men carried out heliborne operation in al-Amr oilfield in the Northeastern countryside of the newly-liberated town of al-Mayadeen and engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL, capturing the oilfield ultimately.

 

Al-Amr is one of the largest oilfields in Syria with almost 30,000 barrels of daily crude production, a gas station and a power plant.  

 

Reports said earlier on Saturday that the army soldiers hit ISIL positions on the Eastern Bank of the Euphrates River in Deir Ezzur province, seizing control of a key town.

 

The army men won another battle with ISIL and pushed them back from the town of Khusham in the Eastern countryside of Deir Ezzur city, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

 

Dara'a

 

Mazen Sobhi al-Jofi, a notorious commander of Jeish al-Islam in Southern Syria, was gunned down by unknown attackers in Dara'a province, militant-affiliated websites disclosed on Saturday.

 

The websites reported that unknown assailants opened fire at Mazen Sbohi al-Jofi nom de guerre Abu Wajdi in a region between the towns of al-Tayebeh and al-Jizah, killing al-Jofi and three of his aides.

 

The websites added that al-Jofi was one of the most notorious commanders of Jeish al-Islam in Southern Syria.

 

Hama

 

The Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board) stormed ISIL's defense lines in Northeastern Hama, taking control over a village on Saturday.

 

The Al-Nusra terrorists engaged in heavy fighting with ISIL and captured the village of al-Shaksawiyeh.

 

The clashes inflicted heavy casualties on both warring sides.

 

Militant-affiliated websites reported on Wednesday that the Al-Nusra Front engaged in heavy fighting with ISIL and managed to capture two villages and several hills in Northeastern Hama.

 

The websites reported that the Al-Nusra terrorists pushed ISIL back from the villages of Sarha and al-Jardawi and several hills near the villages in Northeastern Hama.

 

A number of terrorists from both sides were killed in the clashes.
