RNA - "The British invaders have created the Zionist regime in our land and have turned our countries into engaged small countries that are puppet of the West," said Sheikh Bilal Sha’ban, secretary general of the Tawhid al-Islami movement in Lebanon at a Conference entitled “Quds & Palestine Liberation” in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

He added: "This led to their domination to Islamic societies which was the beginning of a regional conflict among different cultures, races, religions and etc; All of which is caused by the Zionist regime and some of the Arab governments of the region.”

The Sunni cleric also said: "Despite these religious and ethnic conflicts, we are witnessing birth of a new generation that knows nothing but al-Quds and Palestine, and only thinks of liberation of Palestine from the occupiers."

He emphasized the need to return the Palestinian issue to the mainstream of the Islamic world and pointing out: Return of unity of the Ummah and coordination between them to stand against the single enemy, focus on educational status of al-Quds in schools and mosques, supporting resistance of the people in Palestine and al-Quds and paying attention to the families of the martyrs and captives, as well as the economic and military support of the resistance groups, are the main solutions to the liberation of Palestine.

In late August, dozens of Israeli forces raided the headquarters of Palestinian radio station al-Hurria station in the city of al-Khalil and shut down the media outlet for six months. The Israeli forces also confiscated technical equipment of the station during the raid.

The latest Israeli crackdown comes a week after Palestinian factions, Fatah and Hamas, angered the regime in Tel Aviv by signing a landmark reconciliation deal with the aim of ending a decade-long dispute and form a national unity government.
