RNA - Bahrain’s al-Lo’Lo news agency, affiliated with Bahraini revolutionaries, reported that the fate of Shaikh Isa Al-Qafas, a Bahraini imprisoned cleric, had not been known since the transfer to solitary confinement.
The news agency emphasized: “5 days have passed since the transfer of the cleric to solitary confinement but there is no news of his fate.”
Sheikh Isa al-Qafas, who has been transferred to solitary confinement for several months because of a congregation prayer inside the prison, is also banned from treatment.
He was reportedly undergoing surgery for a while, but al-Khalifa's forces have stopped the hospital where he was being treated to continue the treatment, and he was immediately transferred to the prison, sources claim.
The Bahraini cleric has been arrested on charges of being a member of the "Ghorub al-Bastah" group. Al Khalifa claims that the group is linked to Iran and the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and Hezbollah in Lebanon, a claim which has been severely denied by the cleric.
